Umoja Operation Compassion Society of British Columbia is a non-profit community organization that provides support to immigrant refugee families in Vancouver. Although it was founded to target the African community mainly, Umoja has expanded and made its services available to all refugees and immigrants. The organization was established in 2002, and their facility is currently located in Surrey. Operations and activities are also based on volunteer work and contributions.
