Silver Threads Service for Seniors has been working towards the betterment of older adults in the neighborhood and provide them with the necessary programs and services for the last 65 years. They conduct their operations in the City of Victoria and the municipality of Saanich. All required needs are being fulfilled by Silver Threads related to health, social, activity, intellectual and information. They aim to serve the community and build a senior-friendly domain by partnering with the government and local businesses.

Their constructive partnership with Envision Financial Douglas College community building program is valuable to its foundation and entails the marketing practicum students to learn and advocate their marketing skills. Students for the Winter 2021 semester fabricated constructive projects on rebranding and communication aspects for Silver Threads.
